The last week or so we have been pretty busy, with a mix of fluking trips and blues/bonito.
The bonito and small blues have been cooperating pretty regular, trolling for them has been good. We did do a night trip with the Lewis Martin party… and had big blues up to 12 lbs., this fishing has been somewhat steady and we hope to try it again this week and weekend.
The fluking is ok, hate to sound like a broken record, but if the conditions are favorable, we catch, mostly shorts and there are some nice seabass around as well.
Chief Mark Ashley had some members and family from the Griggstown Volunteer Fire Co. out today. We went for the blues and bonito and they did very well, mostly on the nice bonito. Had some of the small blues and a few skippies as well.
