Capt Lou had the Barry Waltersdorf party out today for some excellent striper fishing. The group limited out plus 11 blues. Let’s hope it holds up for another few weeks !! We will be fishing the next four days, will report good or bad. Long time customer Chris Eastburn sailed today with his family and friends for his annual birthday trip. He decided to go for stripers after this past weeks reports and it was a good call. The group that included his kids; Carly, Cody, and Adam, Darron Garabo, Pizza Pete, Tim(Jumbo) Gunther, Jimmy Swanson, Kathleen and Pat, Justin, and a few others to name a few, had a great catch of 39 keeper bass and 3 blues. (limit plus tags). Most of the fish were on jigs. Let’s hope tomorrow is just as good ! Today was a bit different than yesterday, the fish are still here, just played a little hard to get. We worked our way through the fog and boats, it took all day but we did manage to get our limit again plus some shorts and a few blues. Jim Giovinazzio’s gang managed 14 keepers up to 15lbs. All the action was on jigs today. We will be out tomorrow and Tuesday, hope I have good news to report.
