We started off out striper season Thursday, but the fish didn’t start with us. Friday Dave Algar’s gang did well with seabass, porgies, blues and 5 or 6 other species. Saturday we had the Maple Shade sportsmens club out for stripers and it was a tough day with the seas and lack of fish. We did catch one, ended up coming in early due to the conditions. Today the Harpoon Fishing club stuck it out in a little better conditions and managed to catch 10 keeper bass a big blue and two shorts. Hope to be out again Tuesday if the wind doesn’t blow too much.
