The Ken Diamond group had a good day on the ocean today, putting together a mixed bag of cod, ling and ocean pout. The dogfish were not too bad but we did have a few. We ended up with about 30 keeper cod, a dozen ling, and caught at least 50-60 ocean pout. I haven’t seen so many pout in one day ever. There were a couple short pollack, 2 sea bass, and another 3 dozen short cod. Plenty of action all day and they all went home with some good eating fish.

The cod will probably be around for another week or so at least so if you feel the need to get your hands onto one, now is as good a time as any.
