Ray Albright had his annual blue trip Saturday, about 10 years in a row I think. The weather was fantastic, and the fishing was just as good. We had good steady fishing on 6-12 lb. blues, mostly on jigs to keep the doggies back but we did catch on bait as long as you got it away from the boat and didn’t let it sink too far.
On Sunday, Neil Weir had his gang out for some seabass and cod. We managed to put together a nice catch of both, fishing 6 wrecks from 70-90′. The conditions were good, surface temps around 61 degrees. Rod Verto won the pool with a 8 lb cod.
