Opening day of the seabass season was a little bumpy, but the fishing was good enough to keep your mind off the weather. We had a good catch of keeper seabass, about 10-12 per man average. Also caught about 15 or so ling for the box and released quite a few blackfish. The doggies were not that bad. Water temps off the beach were 55-56 degrees, need that to go up a little for the blues to move in soon. The keeper ratio was around 1 keeper to 4-5 shorts.
